VIP Staffing Low Voltage Installation Lead Technician in Albuquerque, New Mexico

On-site coordination and crew supervisor for special system projects. Ensure job completion according to company and customer quality and safety requirements while maintaining the efficiency of the staff assigned to the project.

Duties:

  • Low voltage pathway installation
  • Installation and pulling communications, security, and DAS cabling.
  • Termination, certification, and troubleshooting cabling.
  • Installation of security and communication equipment and devices.
  • Installation of low voltage control panels and power supplies.
  • Configuration, and start-up of security systems.
  • Installation of door hardware, locks, strikes, request to exit devices.
  • Three (3) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical field.
  • Terminate fiber and category rated cabling.
  • Know the universal communications color codes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project

Required education, technical skills and/or experience:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • ES3J, or ES7J
  • BICSI Installer Level II Copper or Fiber preferred.
  • BICSI TE-350 preferred
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

Travel: Travel may be required within New Mexico for this position. Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and motor vehicle insurance.
