Your role at Clorox:

The Capital Systems Team provides in-depth analysis of project spending, including allocation, investment types, and other crucial details. Quarterly reviews involving senior leadership ensure informed capital expenditure decisions.

The Senior Capital Administrator plays a vital role in handling Clorox's data and financial assets, directly impacting business outcomes related to capital engineering investments. They collaborate extensively with various teams (Engineering, Fixed Assets, R&D, etc.) across regions to review and approve funding requests. They also contribute to CapEx growth by assisting in procuring equipment and external engineering/construction services.

This role demands a high degree of autonomy.

The Senior Capital Administrator uses analytical skills to make daily decisions, independently handling tasks through SAP and Project Portfolio Management software to ensure timely and accurate purchase orders and goods receipts. They proactively keep projects and cross-functional partners on track.

In this role, you will:

Report & Forecast

The Senior Capital Administrator will work with the Capital Systems Manager to improve accuracy of capital spending. Also, identify ways to drive discipline and structure into the capital planning cycle.

Convert Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders in SAP

Build Internal Order for capital tracking in SAP

Setup new Vendors in Workflow for Central Engineering

Post Goods Receipts in SAP based on approval from Project Managers

Ensure compliance with Internal Controls requirements for capital project approval processes

Serve as a administrator responsible for releasing approved capital funding requests

Build Asset Shells each month for Central Engineering

Serve as IDMS liaison for Engineering community and Accounts Payable

Leadership with forward-looking financial direction and mentorship relative to spending and forecasting

Drive analysis and develop systems for reporting of actual capital spending by period (monthly and/or quarterly)

Handle and analyze data metrics used for CAPEX scorecard and deck.

Handle Procurement services for GTS Engineering led sourcing events:

This role supports project managers by handling the Deferred sourcing process for equipment and services, ensuring adherence to Clorox procurement policies and standard processes.

Assist Project Managers to a) prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQ) documents, including bid instructions, quote form, scope of work, contract and safety requirements; b) handle sourcing event including Request for Information (RFI) process; and c) negotiate contract.

Implement sourcing event including issuance of invitation to bid and RFQ, management of Requests for Information (RFI) and tabulation of results and clarifications.

Plans, implements, follow-ups and institutes continuous improvement to the Supplier On-Boarding Tool for high priority projects.

Adhere to Clorox Procurement Policies.

Sustain procurement standard processes by developing job aids and delivering training to GTS and updating the Capital Project Management SharePoint site.

Work with SAP crafting purchase orders.

Acquire and implement Non-Disclosure Agreements with Vendors from Legal.

Support contract execution by using Docusign and uploading to Legal Apptus platform.

Help with Project & Portfolio Management Software and SAP

Handle the creation and maintenance of capital internal orders; build spending plans, and internal order budgets in SAP. Ensures compliance with Capital Authorization matrix and that required approvals are acquired and detailed.

Handle Fixed Asset for capital engineering to maintain compliance and setup of asset shells.

Process funding requests (add approvals, "release" in SAP)

Handle Close out process for purchase orders for project completions

Enter goods receipts in SAP; receiving work in IDMS

Train and Handle Process Improvements

Lead along with the Capital Systems Manager the development of One-Right-Way capital processes by maintaining, improving, and crafting training documents and job-aids

Provide independent technical expertise to troubleshoot user issues with capital tools, including SAP

What we look for:

3-5 years of experience

Must be flexible and enjoy working on a Team

SAP systems experience required

People and leadership skills with track record of achieving positive business result

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a collaborative team environment.

Shown experience with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint (e.g. can generate spreadsheets with formulas and formatting and analyze data Strong analytical skills)

Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multi task

Solid understanding of finance, capital planning, and project cost tracking and forecasting, economic justification analysis

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience, and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $62,500 - $111,300

–Zone B: $57,300 - $102,000

–Zone C: $52,100 - $92,700
