WHAT THIS JOB IS LIKE Overall responsibility for managing assigned program services. Responsible for all aspects of program operation including staffing and programming. Day to day program operations oversee proper supervision and staffing for all persons served. Ensure that services provided are person-centered, age-appropriate, and community focused. Maintain a working knowledge of licensing and regulatory standards. Maintain a professional and positive behavioral atmosphere by promoting the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Work as part of the agency leadership team and assist with developing and moving forward the agency strategic plan. Abide by and implement all program requirements and regulations applicable to MSS. Identify program development goals and implement plans to report on and achieve goals. Oversee the provision of program services. Work collaboratively to develop best practices in service delivery and performance improvement. Ensure the safety and health of staff and persons served. Provide supervision and support to staff including recognition, guidance, and feedback. Work collaboratively with Human Resources to recruit and retain staff. Ensure training requirements are met by all staff. Identify training needs and seek resources. Act as a liaison with other appropriate agencies and organizations to promote the interests of MSS. Take an active role in assisting with and attending agency sponsored events. Responsible for budget development for assigned program. Monitor revenue and expenses regularly.
