Our client, an industry leader in the manufacturing of heavy gage stamped metal fasteners, progressive die metal stampings and high value added assemblies for the industrial and automotive industry, is looking for a Process Engineer. Key qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. OEM experience in packaging required. There is an annual bonus opportunity and relocation assistance.

responsibilities:

• Supporting automotive assembly manufacturing for continuous improvement, quality issues, new launches, engineering changes, and lessons learned.

• Developing and implementing process control techniques and procedures. Analyzing automotive packaging processes for press and assembly operations.

• Changing and creating documentation for automotive packaging processes.

• Conducting time studies and line balancing for automotive packaging processes.

• Maintaining and restructuring Bill of Materials (BOM) for packaging.

• Collaborating with customer engineers and representatives on packaging solutions.

• Conducting Root-Cause Analyses (RCA) to identify opportunities, develop resolutions, and implement new processes.

• Cultivating good working relationships and effective communication with vendors, team members, suppliers, and customers.

• Applying automotive manufacturing best practices for efficiency, quality, safety, and capability. Completing miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by the manager.
