Job Overview

Ensures safe, appropriate, and economical use of drugs through the application of specialized skills and knowledge in pediatric patient care. This team member is part of the Critical Care Competency Group. As a member of this group, the pharmacist will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams caring for our critical care population. Coverage areas include neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, cardiac intensive care, emergency department, cardiac transplant, labor & delivery, and the operating room. This pharmacist will serve as the medication expert on the multidisciplinary team, review and verify orders, perform therapeutic drug monitoring, participate in code response, answer drug information questions, and more. Qualifications

Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree. Experience: Completion of one year pharmacy residency. Equivalency: One year of pharmacy work experience accepted in lieu of residency. Licensure: State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Pharmacist license.
