Responsibilities

We have a great faculty opportunity with our Family Medicine Residency program.

We are an ACGME-accredited, unopposed, 8/8/8 residency program, soon to be located in a state–of–the–art ambulatory care center, and affiliated with a full–service regional medical center in Bremerton, Washington, in the extraordinary Pacific Northwest. We offer unique educational opportunities, including: an embedded HIV clinic, a longitudinal, interest–guided community medicine experience, enhanced mental health training, Medication–Assisted Therapy training, training in a wide variety of office–based procedural skills, global health rotation opportunities, and comprehensive practice management training.

The program is located is on the Olympic Peninsula in the city of Bremerton which is surrounded by water and mountains, and offers affordable housing, excellent schools and amazing outdoor recreation.

We train Family Physicians to:

I. Provide comprehensive care for patients with a broad range of medical conditions across the spectrum of acute illness, chronic illness and preventive health planning

II. Provide individualized, compassionate care for underserved populations within the Pacific Northwest

III. Lead multidisciplinary teams within the Patient Centered Medical Home in rural and underserved areas of the Pacific Northwest

IV. Communicate efficiently and compassionately during patient, family and community encounters

V. Use leading-edge technology for the benefit of their patients and their communities

VI. Be effective and efficient lifelong learners

VII. Assume medical leadership and community services roles in local communities, in the Pacific Northwest and in the nation

Pay Range

$113.69/hour - $135.43/hour
