We are looking for a Director, Member Engagement to work at our Corporate Headquarters in Brentwood, TN !

It’s hard to pinpoint a “typical” day here (and who wants typical anyway?), but in summary you can generally expect:

  • Responsibility for developing, implementing and monitoring company-wide strategies to ensure optimal utilization of member health & wellness centers, pharmacies and fitness centers to ensure client retention, growth and ROI.

  • Working in collaboration with operations and clients to ensure projected penetration rates are met and exceeded by establishing an implementation and ongoing marketing roadmap for each location.

  • Managing a team to execute member engagement strategies.

What You’ll Do for Us Specifically:

  • Drives client, provider, and member demand for health, wellness, pharmacy, and fitness centers by developing innovative and sustainable marketing programs.

  • Leads new site marketing implementation by partnering with operations and client marketing teams to ensure pre-opening marketing plan developed and executed to ensure projected penetration, visits and ROI met.

  • In coordination with VP of Member Engagement, participates in developing and implementing successful short and long term member marketing plans that include promotional materials, brand building, communications, promotional events, and client relationship management.

  • Identifies sites with utilization, penetration and ROI Performance Guarantees to ensure focus on sites at risk of failing. Implements strategies to improve performance to meet PGs.

  • Serves as an operations and client advocate to identify actionable ways to use member best practices to improve the patient experience, incentives, and outcomes to ensure maximum utilization.

  • Develops member marketing strategy by benchmarking proven tactics and quantifying the value proposition.

  • Oversees digital marketing e-store including development of new templated materials and management of inventoried items.

  • Manages outside agencies (as necessary) in support of the development of all member marketing materials.

  • Manages budget for marketing related expenditures for company wide member oriented marketing initiatives as well as select new and existing client sites.

  • Leads the development of marketing strategies and tactical execution to promote specific product lines of service (e.g., Patient Portal, PCMH, Fitness, Pharmacy, etc) to consumer audiences.

  • Develops and manages member related marketing materials in support of RFPs and sales presentations.

  • Leads the interpretation of company brand guidelines for all member marketing and communications.

  • Strategically approaches new member marketing initiatives (e.g., e-newsletter, text messaging) with a clear path to deploying efforts across a larger portion of the company’s more than one million healthcare consumers.

  • Manages the Photo Image library for member engagement.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field


  • At least 8 years’ experience in health care marketing.

  • 5 years’ experience developing strategy initiatives, managing marketing program budgets, project management, and direct staff management.

  • 3 years direct-to-patient marketing acquisition or patient retention experience. B2B2C preferred.

  • Experience with email automation / CRM software, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Acrobat desired), and Squarespace

  • Experience with collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies, evaluating information to determine compliance, developing and delivering presentations, providing customer service.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand customers – their pain points, how and why they buy - to create innovative, engaging, and actionable strategies that supports the sales process

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Outstanding communication skills across numerous platforms including written, verbal and multi-media (web, social and video)
