Job Description

Purpose

In the Abbvie BackOffice TOM the Finance Manager will have a fundamental role in making sure all SOPs within the region are aligned and developing as expected considering both businesses, Pharma and Aesthetics and assuring compliance with all local Entity obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of South Region affiliates in house activities for OTC, P2P, R2R, and in affiliate accounting and financial requirements including both businesses Pharma and Aesthetics, total Sales $165MM USD – 3 Legal Integrated Entities

  • Responsible for setting local internal controls in the different processes (OTC/PTP/RTR/CTE) to mitigate risks aligned to Global policies defined by Abbvie – Monitoring & updating local processes.

  • Liaison between FSS, CoEs and BPO for all financial cycles

  • Responsible for South Region Entity Plan & LBE Processes including responsibility on Working Capital management and Entity profitability considering the consolidation of both businesses (Pharma and Aesthetics)

  • Responsible for oversight Credit & Collection South Region process assuring collection for both businesses (Pharma and Aesthetics) and DSO management.

  • Responsible for Transparency reporting and perform Compliance monitoring activities – Compliance partner.

  • Local key user for local tax and statutory activities. Support Legal requests.

  • Support South Region month-end and year-end close process and responsible for preparation of timely and accurate financial reports.

  • Business Support in FP&A role according to business needs

  • Management of ad-hoc white space activities: Fleet control, Corporate Card Program, Risk Management activities, etc.

  • Responsible for assuring Finance Controller team development and regional cross-country activities management.

Qualifications

  • Accounting with 10 plus years industry experience.

  • Financial expertise: statutory experience, accounting.

  • Knowledge of the market, full range of customer and stakeholder needs.

  • Local healthcare environment and evolving landscape.

  • Functional skills: project management, time management, excel skills and data handling

  • Expert Modeling (scenario planning)

  • Expert interpretation of data and information.

  • Pharmaceutical industry business, polices and procedures

  • Skills: communication, influence and negotiation, leadership, business acumen, strategic and Innovative thinking.

  • English fluent
