Position Summary:
Are you ready to take on the exciting challenge of coordinating, collaborating, and supporting the managing employee health services for 70 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (https://medicine.buffalo.edu/offices/gme.html) - ( ACGME ) accredited, medical residency and fellowship programs with a great team of Graduate Medical Education ( GME ) professionals? The University of Buffalo (UB) GME Office is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a robust medical background to join our team as a Lead Physician.
As UB GME’s Lead Physician, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Manage GME employee health service functions
Maintain oversight of annual health assessments for residents/fellows
Assist GME Office/Program Directors with individual resident/fellow health issues that affect training and education
Review and develop policies and procedures according to University at Buffalo, Erie County, New York State and Federal Government guidelines

Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
Medical (MD),Osteopathic (DO), or Equivalent Degree
Familiarity with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in the field of occupational health
