Pay Range: $105,000-$135,000

We are recruiting a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner at Buffalo General Hospital/Gates Vascular Institute to work with a busy cardiothoracic surgery service in the CVICU. The applicant should be self -motivated, work well with others, and work well under pressure.

This is a full- time position that includes a rotation of 13- hour rotating day, night, weekend shifts. 3x a week. No Call requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery or ICU management. Previous experience is preferred. Candidates should be available for nights, weekends, holidays.

Requirements include

• Prior Cardiology experience in an emergency department or ICU experience preferred.

• Post operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients will include - ECMO, IABP, Impella and preoperative surgical evaluations

• Patient-driven, inquisitive, compassionate, independent and dedicated to improving the health of patients.

• Board certified.

• New York State license

• DEA certification
