Duties:Duties include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses as assigned by the civil engineering department head; developing and maintaining internationally recognized externally funded research; pursuing scholarly activities and leading student organizations; maintaining and improving labs for the civil engineering department.Required Qualifications:A Ph.D. degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.An ability to initiate and sustain a successful externally funded research program.An ability or potential for excellence in teaching and research at the undergraduate and graduate levels.PE license in Montana or the ability to become licensed in Montana within three years of employment.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Preferred Qualifications:College teaching experience.Postdoctoral or industrial experience.
