Job Summary and Qualifications

• Service line promotion & development.

• Physician issue resolution.

• Collaboration with physician sales, strategic planning and members of the Business Development team.

• Implementation of the strategic plan.

• Competitor and market analysis.

• Responsible for Medical City Dallas dedicated service lines.

• Overall direction and business development, marketing physician relations, and community outreach.

• Directs all departments and financial functions connected with the day-to-day Management of the entity and performs additional duties at the request of the Vice President of Business Development.

• Consults with medical staff members; remains fully informed regarding the views of the medical staff as to the quality of medical practice and patient care within the dedicated service lines.

• Oversees the planning, control, and effective utilization of the physical, financial and human resources of the service lines.

• Maintains awareness of the current and potential competitive forces in the marketplace and ensures that the entity has an active and continuous marketing plan that meets the overall strategic objectives.

• Ensures that all legal and statutory requirements are met for the operation of the service lines.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in overseeing the operations of similar services.

• Master's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Effective communication skills, ability to interact professionally with physicians and Administrative Leadership team.

• Must have thorough knowledge of medical terminology, credentialing, and Medical Staff disciplinary processes.

• Develops and motivates team and other key personnel to optimize their talents to meet the overall needs of the organization.

• Assists the VP of Business Development in the development of administrative policies and the formation of long-range strategic programs and plans.

• Ability to think independently.

• Able to interpret complicated Government communications.
