Aerotek is hiring for Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter Workers in the Syracuse, NY area!

Pay: Starting at $20.00 - $25.00 hourly based on experience

Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Location: Syracuse, NY

Start date: ASAP!

Description:

• Sprinkler fitters will be working with various mechanical systems involving sprinkler systems.

• Working with steel and plastic piping on commercial projects.

• Brazing, soldering, and welding pipe.

• Cutting and using groove machine on various size piping.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous construction experience.

• Ability to review blueprints and schematics.

• Using hand tools and power tools.

• Must be able to carry heavy pipe and use heavy tools.

• Brazing, soldering or welding

• Use of Copper and plastic pipe

Description:

Maintains Building Automation System's LAN network, including but not limited to work stations, networking cables, servers and access points. Tests these systems for proper operation, analyzes test results and makes appropriate adjustments, modifications or replacement of electronic or electromechanical and related hardware as required. Uses technical and working knowledge of electricity, electronics and software programming to troubleshoot and repair the above-mentioned systems
