Overview
Do you have an Associate's degree in Nursing? Are you a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota? We at MHealth Fairview are looking for you to join our amazing team at our Southdale Hospital! This benefits eligible position is a 1.0FTE(80 hours/2 weeks) on the day shift.
This nursing postition supports clinical trials conducted within the M Health Fairview system. The ideal candicate has experience as a research coordinator with participation in pharma-sponsored clinical trials in the care of a specific population of patients or in specialized function. This individual may provide direct services to patient/families and provide consultation and education to staff and other health care professionals. This individual monitors standards of care related to specific clinical trials/research, a specialty area and participates in research and other scholarly activities. This individual contributes to the creation and promotion of an environment of evidenced-based practice and interdisciplinary care delivery.
Responsibilities Job Description
Assists with research projects and clinical trials.
Recruits potential study volunteers
Follows study subjects according to study protocol
Collects data and reports to Principal Investigator conducting study
Analyzes/evaluated data as needed for patient safety, protocol compliance and completion of study documentation
Provides direct patient care
As related to specific research project or clinical trial
Functions as a resource to outpatient clinics, and medical staff regarding the research and trial.
Provides education services to patients and their families.
Provides education services to hospital staff.
Serves on task forces, committees and teams related to clinical specialty, research and clinical trials.
Qualifications
Knowledge of research methods
Knowledge of the Code of Federal regulations an ICH Guidelines for GCP’s
Ability to apply knowledge of regulations
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations as they pertain to Research and Standard of Care
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Clinical expertise in area of assigned specialty
Knowledge of learning principles and education theory
Ability to develop educational resource materials
Ability to work as a member of a team
