We are currently seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team of dedicated professionals providing healthcare services at United States Army MEDDAC for Soldier Readiness Processing in Fort Stewart, GA.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time, long-term position (not travel nor a direct hire to the Department of Defense)

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-hour schedule / 40 hours per week between 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (may include some weekends and holidays according to facility need)

Job Responsibilities: The selected candidate will lead the assessment team for Soldier Readiness Processing. Any ongoing treatment will be referred to the appropriate provider. This role offers a great schedule for mid-level providers seeking a set schedule or a slower pace, with no shift work or on-call duties.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Education:

  • NP: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program recognized by ACEN or CCNE.

  • PA: Bachelor's degree, graduate from an ARC-PA certified college or university.

  • Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

  • NP: Certification by ANCC, AANP, or recognized national nursing certification organization.

  • DEA registration number is required for PA/NPs.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in the last 2 years working as a Nurse Practitioner in the care of adult patients.

  • Licensure/Registration:

  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States.
