Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Sr, Testing Operations and Planning - level 3 in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

You will be the Systems Engineer, Testing Operations and Planning for the F-35 System Integration and Test Team . Our team is responsible coordinating, planning, and executing engineering tests to ensure product quality and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, set up test environments, and analyze test results for the Testing Operations and Planning Team on the F-35.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer, Testing Operations and Planning you will be responsible coordinating, planning, and executing engineering tests to ensure product quality and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, set up test environments, and analyze test results. Additionally, you will be involved in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness for the Testing Operations and Planning Team on the F-35.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implementing test plans and procedures based on project requirements

• Coordinate with engineering teams to set up test environments and equipment

• Conduct tests, collect and analyze data, and prepare test reports

• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to test setups, equipment, or procedures

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tests

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness

** This position is for a full-time 4/10 B position (Tuesday - Friday). ** This is for 2nd shift (between 1:00 pm - midnight) ** 2nd shift receives shift differential. **

You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or combined education with relevant experience.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in lab integration and test.

• F35 Program clearances desired.

• Familiarity with Mission Systems Integration Labs (MSIL and MVDL).

• Experience in Mission Systems capabilities within aircraft platform(s).

• Technical Experience/Background Experience with developing system requirements, software requirements, or hardware requirements.

• Experience with software test design, software debug, lab integration, and test.

• Experience in systems engineering development and integration processes.

• Familiarity with JASPER and associated tools.

• Familiarity with F-35 SPAR lifecycle and disposition process.

• Experienced working with multiple LM Aero F-35 engineering teams (e.g., MS, VS, WPNs, Labs).

• Familiarity with TR3 architecture.

• Experience with Linux Operating Systems.

• Experience with Open System Architecture and Common Systems.

• Interim Secret required prior to start.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
