Veralto Contracts Manager - Remote in Glen Allen, Virginia

About the Role:

The Contracts Manager will analyze and negotiate contracts between Veralto Water Quality operating companies and suppliers, customers, partners, consultants, and others; Partner with field and corporate sales, purchasing, and other internal stakeholders to understand and deliver contract needs; Identify and track key performance indicators to drive improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the entire contract life cycle including, but not limited to, the review, negotiation and execution of commercial sales contracts, master purchasing agreements, distributor agreements, amendments, NDAs, and pricing.

  • Acts in capacity of operating company liaison with customer purchasing department to negotiate mutually acceptable terms and conditions when issuing new contracts.

  • Acts as advisor to sales, sales operations, finance, and other internal departments in identifying and summarizing legal risks in contracts.

  • Collaborates with multiple departments including sales, finance, legal, sales operations, and other cross functional groups on contractual issues and internal projects.

  • Ensures contracts meet legal, finance, compliance, and regulatory requirements per internal processes and procedures.

  • Utilize document tracking (including contract lifecycle management systems).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • JD required

  • 4+ years’ experience in contracts or purchasing departments or as a paralegal or in business law with an emphasis in contract drafting, negotiating and review (including experience with contractual, indemnification and insurance concepts) or related field preferred.

  • Strong experience reviewing, revising, negotiating and summarizing various commercial contracts.

  • Strong business and technical knowledge of key contract terms and legal issues in contracts

  • Large law firm experience preferred.

Travel:

• Less than 25% is required in North America and Europe.

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $96,000 . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in CA, CO, WA, and NYC.

This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
