BluePearl Pet Hospital, the role of Veterinary Technician is an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that will allow you to utilize the skills that you have worked so hard to gain. We will also give you the chance to expand and grow your skills, all while working alongside some of the most talented veterinary professionals.

As a n Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history.

• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.

• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like jugular catheters, central lines, PICC lines, and arterial lines.

• Monitor and care for ventilator cases.

• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants and board certified criticalists in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.

• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.

Pay: $22.15 - $32.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through CareerTrax leveling system .

* Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience*

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

• Mon – Thurs: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential

• Fri & Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun 8am - 5pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
