Oracle Database Business Development (Partners) in Hartford, Connecticut

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative addition to the Outbound Product Management and Business Development team for on-premises engineered systems (Exadata, ZDLRA, ODA), Gen2 OCI Db Services (ExaCS, DBCS, Autonomous-Dedicated, Database Backup Service, ExaScale), and Gen2 Cloud@Customer, whose primary goal will be to provide database product-specific support to the partner ecosystem. This is outbound product management focused on partner ecosystem.The ultimate goal is customer success, as defined by consumption and successful use of Oracle Database solutions via partner engagement. This role will take partner strategy defined by executive management and provide database product level support to implement the strategy cross functionally with development organization, and Oracle’s Alliances and Channel teams.The individual will help communicate product specific collateral, training, and examinations to align with OPN’s Sell, Build and Service tracks. The individual will need to ensure that partners are engaged with available training, certification and accreditation to enable them to succeed with projects. This would also include supporting the engagement opportunities for partners to demonstrate the substantial revenue potential that exists for them with Oracle Data Solutions. Finally, this role includes assisting opportunities for specific initiatives and or accelerators to focus driving partner success with specific products and services to align with corporate strategy.

Responsibilities :

  • Communicate the product value proposition for partners within each segment of the Oracle Portfolio of Data Management Solution offerings

  • Develop strong highly collaborative partnerships internally with OPN Programs, A&C Strategy, Oracle Sales teams and Database Product Management/Development teams to garner partner business goals and success criteria

  • Work with Oracle University, OSPA, and PM technical leads to develop specific training and enablement plans and content to drive partner success with Database products and services

  • Develop a communication plan to show how database partners that having certified individuals on staff along with published Expertise in Modern OPN deliver higher value to end customers

  • Work with Oracle Sales and regional A&C teams to perform customer success analysis and prioritization of partners to focus efforts on for highest success

  • Define and help develop communication plan for product specific collateral need for OPN’s Sell, Build, and Service tracks.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $30.29 to $60.63 per hour; from $63,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
