The Montana Lottery is seeking an individual with an IT security background, preferably technical cyber-security, to serve as the agency’s Information Security Officer reporting to the Director and Head of Security under the supervision of the department’s IT Director. In this capacity, you will generally be responsible for: · Participate in the development of security risk management plans; · Identify compromises to Lottery’s IT infrastructure; and · Adapt the business to the rapidly changing landscape of IT threats and vulnerabilities. · Monitor Lottery information systems for gaming integrity. What are we looking for?__ Minimum Education and Experience: // * Two-year degree related to an IT discipline; AND * 3 years’ experience in a technical security-related role; OR * Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a CAP, CISSP, SSCP certification(s) or GIAC certificates and coursework.
