Description Cindy Bradley is actively recruiting for the Mfg/Retail Services company located in SOUTHWEST Houston area! Company is growing quickly! The role is for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor reporting to the CFO. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities from advising on budgets and financial strategies to managing the accounting team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and driving our overall success.

Responsibilities:

• Will manage AP, AR, Billing and staff Accountant - must have proven leadership skills • Manage the accounting team and oversee audit and ledger preparation • Support managers across teams with financial procedures • Maintain accounting schedules in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policy • Oversee all accounting procedures and processes, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) • Prepare and analyze account reconciliations • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements • Oversee monthly closings • Assist the accounting team with strategic projects as required • Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel and NetSuite for various tasks and processes

Skills:

• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Excel and NetSuite • Experience in the manufacturing and retail industries • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger • Ability to work towards month-end close and handle annual inventory. Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor.

• Proven experience in the Manufacturing and Retail industries.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with General Ledger.

• Experience in handling Annual Inventory is necessary.

• Ability to manage Month End Close activities.

• Familiarity with the NetSuite accounting software is desirable.
