Position Details The role of an MST CAN Therapist role conducts individual and family therapy sessions, parent coaching, and crisis intervention for each child assigned to his/her caseload using an evidenced based practice, MST CAN. Multi-systemic Therapy Child Abuse and Neglect (MST CAN) designed to intervene with children and their family with an open substantiated report of child abuse or neglect to improve maladaptive coping skills and reduce the risk of out of home placement.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or a related field or a Master's with a minimum of 12 graduate level credit hours in therapy and/or counseling. 2 years' experience in a CASSP system program Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of children and families on caseload. Ability to Travel to client's homes for the purpose of providing community and home-based services, direct observation or supervision for children, adolescents, and families. A valid Pennsylvania Driver's license and access to reliable transportation is a requirement.
