Position Purpose:

All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHIs vision of providing the regions best clinical care and patient service through an environment that fosters respect for others and pride in performance.

The Human Resources Representative supports the essential services provided by the Human Resources Department to create an environment that fosters competency, self-development and continued learning to support KHIs mission and vision.

Provides administrative support to one or more human resources functions. Provides support for all Human Resources related activities. Maintains the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and personnel files. Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures. Assists in administering Human Resources policies and procedures. Collects and maintains HR data related to functional area.

Functional Area Responsibilities:

Onboarding Operations: Reports to Total Rewards Manager

Supports new hires through the onboarding process ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and a positive experience for the new hire. Facilitates New Employee Orientation and tracks compliance. Processes Retention and Referral Bonuses. Serves as a backup for the HR Representatives from the other functional areas.

Benefits/Compensation: Reports to Total Rewards Manager

Supports Benefits, Compensation and Wellness by responding to questions from employees, managers, and candidates regarding the KHI benefit plans, coverage and claim issues. Assists employees transferring to Full Time Status with benefits onboarding and processes COBRA for those leaving Full Time Status. Serves as the primary contact for FMLA and supports the employee through the process. Serves as a backup for the HR Representatives from the other functional areas.

General Operations: Reports to Human Resources Manager

Processes Personnel Action forms maintaining the HRIS and personnel records. Assists with the off-boarding process and schedules Exit Interviews. Processes all Student and Agency staff including updating the HRIS and associated files. Serves as backup to HR Administrative Assistant, including answering phones, greeting visitors, filing, preparing orientation materials, distributing mail, preparing and printing ID badges. Serves as a backup for the HR Representatives from the other functional areas.
