This is a job for Licensed Practical Nurse Hospice position with the company located in Kosciusko, MS area.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

 in Hospice is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing technical skilled care in the patient's home.

Responsibilities:

Performs skilled nursing services under the supervision of a staff RN daily. Administers prescribed medications and treatments as permitted by state regulations. Assists the physician and/or staff RN in performing specialized procedures as needed. Assists the patient with daily activities and encourages appropriate self-care daily. Reports to the patient's physician and other appropriate personnel regarding pertinent changes in the patient's condition as needed. Performs complex wound care if in-service is documented for specific procedure daily or as needed.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree or certification equivalent. Unrestricted licensure in state of practice. Current CPR certification required. Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
