Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant participates in the delivery of excellent family practice and pediatric care in an ambulatory clinic setting with an emphasis on the prevention of disease; preparation of the patient for examination and/or procedures; administers medications under direction of provider; performs in office lab procedures and phlebotomy on pediatric and adult patients; sterilizes instruments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. This will include actively participating and supporting primary clinical teams with these efforts. This position is full-time and out of our MLK clinic located in Las Vegas, NV. *Requirements of the position: *

  • High school diploma or general education equivalent (GED).
  • Certification of completion of Medical Assistant program
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
