Production Worker / Fabricator

Valtir is currently looking to hire 3rd shift production fabricators for our plant in Lima, OH

$21.00 (+$2.00 per hour shift premium)

Must have the ability to work Monday - Thursday 8:00pm - 6:30am, Fridays 5pm - 1am

• $21.00 (+$2.00 per hour shift premium)
• 80 hours vacation
• Sign on bonus
• Attendance bonus

$3,000 sign on bonus. $1,000 paid out at 30 days, $1,000 paid out at 90 days & $1,000 paid out at 180 days.

$750 attendance bonus.  $250 will be paid out at your 1st, 2nd & 3rd month for perfect attendance.

Valtir is hiring 3rd shift Production Worker / Fabricator to support our Lima, OH manufacturing facility by performing general labor aiding in the manufacturing and processing of highway safety products.

What You'll Do:

• Operate equipment and tools to aid in manufacturing highway safety products. Included but not limited to; press break, shears, punch press, saw drill & press roller
• Read blueprints, adjust machines to appropriate settings; thickness, shape etc.
• Perform a variety of tasks as directed to maintain efficient production in the department
• Maintain a clean work environment through 5S activities 
• Lift/carry materials of different weights throughout the entirety of the shift
• Check tools and equipment in observance of safety regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Working Environment:

• Conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy.
• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the plant.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.
• Dependable job attendance is expected
• Attendance and showing up to work on time are important to the success of the plant

What You'll Need:

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Reliable and predictable attendance
• Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
• Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
• Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships
