Here, you will make an impact by:Collaborating with scientists & engineers to assist in bioprocess and product development, delivering high quality materials, processes, and analysis within PFB and leveraging the resources of the Life Sciences Biologics Center.Assisting with tasks including upstream and downstream process development, materials synthesis, preparation, characterization, performance testing, and data collection.Implementing best lab practices, analytical methods, and culture techniques to prepare and characterize novel biomaterials.Thoroughly documenting and reporting processes and results in both electronic and written format.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND a minimum of three (3) years of industrial bioprocessing experience in a private, public, government or military environmentANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Minimum of (2) two years of demonstrated expertise and practical knowledge of upstream and downstream recombinant protein and/or viral vector purification using biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and technologies.Expertise and practical knowledge of bioprocessing techniques (such as DNA extraction, post Protein A DNA and mAb quantification, HPLC, ELISA, AKTA, Pendotech, plasmid purification etc)Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Cell biology, Genetics, Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related discipline from an accredited institutionTrack record of training and/or employee onboarding (multidisciplinary and cross functional) across internal and external organizations.Work well independently and within a team.Track record of people or project managementWork location: Onsite - Maplewood MNTravel: May include up to 5% domesticRelocation Assistance: Not authorizedSupporting our Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
