Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

As a Ballistic Missile Defense Integration and Test Lead, you will apply your experience, technical expertise, and leadership skills in the planning, integration, test, and activation of enhanced capabilities for naval Radar systems.

This is an onsite position in Marlborough , MA with regular work at the Tewksbury, MA location. This position will require up to 25% travel and participation in programmatic and technical reviews.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Operation, Integration, and Analysis of multiple Radar systems

• Execution of Stage testing in accordance with program schedule, including supervising a team of highly skilled Engineers and performing equipment set-up, checkout, testing, reporting of results, SW, HW and FW upgrades and maintaining records as required

• Establish working relationships with and provide regular status reports to program Leadership

• Ability to perform work in an industrial or field environment (at sea) including routine climbing and lifting associated with shipboard electronic work.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior naval radars electrical and computer systems design, integration, and test in either a lab or field setting experience.

• Experience with preparation and/or conducting flight testing

• Experience with MATLAB or other to analyze Radar signal data

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to lead a small team to execute test events

• Experience with the BMD Mission Area

• Experience with the SPY-6 program, including issue resolution and requirements verification.

• Prior experience working with Command and Control systems

• MS in a relevant STEM field of study (Applied Physics, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related major preferred).

• Experience with test procedure development and test conduct including the ability to safely conduct testing in a shipboard environment, in an industrial environment, and at sea

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
