Description:

This position requires a strong knowledge and ability to prepare various types of mapping including but not limited to ALTA Surveys, final maps, record of surveys, parcel maps, easement preparation, construction staking calculations and the ability to review different types of construction documents including but not limited to project specifications, Architectural plans & details, Structural Plans & Details, Shop drawings including bolt & steel drawings, Civil site drawings, Civil roadway drawings, plan and profiles & utility drawings. Our current projects range from boundary topo, ALTA / NSPS surveys, Construction surveys for residential, commercial, large industrial and high-rise projects. We are an expanding company and are seeking a motivated team player that can join our team.

• Perform ALTA Surveys, Boundary/ R/W Surveys, & Topographic Surveys

• Reduction of Field Data

• Preparation of Projects

• Project Management

• Geodetic Control Surveys and Post Processing

• Prepare projects and equipment for assigned tasks

• QA/QC Reviews

• Other responsibilities as assigned

· LSI or PLS preferred.

· Strong mapping experience with local municipalities.

· Strong Legal description preparation.

· Strong Knowledge of Civil 3D.

· Strong Knowledge of GPS, RTK, Static & post processing skills a plus.

· Strong experience in construction calculations for staking

· Some Proposals, Marketing & Client Relations

· Boundary research at various local jurisdictions & BLM

· Construction coordination meetings
