Robert Half Controller in Morrisville, North Carolina

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Morrisville, North Carolina. The Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our company's financial systems, including accounting software systems, auditing, and SEC reporting. This role will significantly contribute to the company's financial strategy and planning, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

• Use accounting software systems such as NetSuite and ADP to keep track of the company's financial transactions.

• Ensure that all financial transactions and data are in compliance with GAAP - STAT, GAAP Accounting, and US GAAP.

• Regularly conduct audits to verify the accuracy of financial information and ensure compliance with DCAA and other auditing principles.

• Prepare and present financial reports, including Form 10-K and Form 10-Q, in compliance with SEC regulations.

• Utilize your public accounting skills to manage and oversee all financial systems and processes.

• Leverage your CPA designation to ensure the company's financial systems and processes are accurate, efficient, and in compliance with all regulatory bodies.

• Regularly communicate with other departments to share information and clarify instructions.

• Develop strategies for financial performance monitoring and departmental improvements.

• Provide leadership and support to the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with DCAA

• Proficiency in Auditing

• Knowledge of GAAP - STAT

• Understanding of GAAP Accounting and US GAAP

• Proficiency in using NetSuite

• Experience in Public Accounting

• Knowledge in Public Accounting Audit

• CPA or CPA Designation is a must

• Experience in SEC Reporting and understanding of SEC Regulations

• Knowledge of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q

• Experience in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry

• Familiarity with Controller job functions
