Meta Agency Partner, India in Mumbai, India

Summary:

Meta is seeking a strong, experienced Agency Partner to work with the leading media agencies to grow revenue and increase adoption of Meta’s advertising solutions. In this role, you will be part of a high-caliber team, in a business that is experiencing rapid and dramatic growth in both the brand and performance marketing areas. The Agency Partner will run a specific book of business as well as lead our efforts across channels, functions and sales teams. You will be expected to own the overall business results derived through the channel by successfully navigating both their external organizations and across our Meta teams, prioritizing opportunities, building joint plans, and ensuring quality execution in-market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both Meta and competitor products, and a proven ability to influence agency customers at different levels of the organization – ranging from CXO executive leadership levels to more technically-oriented heads of performance and product. Candidates must have a deep understanding of the Indian digital agencies, competitive landscape for digital media buying, and the unique challenges faced by local digital agencies in the market. This role requires high adaptability and resourcefulness as digital agencies are often variable in their different business models, and have different product specializations and different levels of knowledge. Candidates must be quick learners, have a collaborative and innovative spirit and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity. This position is full-time and located in our Gurgaon/Mumbai office.

Agency Partner, India Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver revenue across the allocated agency portfolio and determine new, untapped growth opportunities while driving current revenue streams

  2. Manage the strategic relationships within all agencies, develop strong C-level relationships with agency leadership and/or founders

  3. Create, implement and track solution adoption goals across the entire agency to ensure excellent understanding of Meta value proposition and products

  4. Is able to influence the agency to grow priority accounts

  5. Identify and pitch transformational opportunities to agencies that directly support country business growth drivers

  6. Identify key frictions and barriers specific to these agencies and lead scaled solutions

  7. Build a strong partnership with the industry body to a maintain and strengthen Meta’s brand

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of proven track record in media sales/media planning/campaign experience for businesses/accounts, with key mandate being delivering against quota

  2. Has developed strategies that have successfully influenced key decision makers at all levels of the agency

  3. Has worked hands-on in a large digital media agency and/or client side will help ensure recommendations are pragmatic and real-world ready

  4. Has experience pitching and managing digital campaign strategies and is able to explain the differences between Meta and competing products

  5. Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential, ability to leverage data and analytics to improve performance for digital campaigns is required

  6. Analytical, detail-oriented professional with clear business strategy views and the ability to unlock revenue opportunities within the market

  7. Delivering sales presentations and leading training programs for large audiences

  8. Strong understanding of Meta user behavior and how technology works - represent Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp at key industry events and gatherings

  9. Curiosity, persistence, resourcefulness, highly-organized and the ability to solve problems in a structured manner
