Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture of CARE. The role is a key partner in our Creative Services Team and will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing, design, and merchandising activities across Restaurant Associates, with a particular focus on our Restaurant Services division (see just a few of our restaurants on our website here https://www.restaurantassociates.com/our-business/). The role is based in NYC Headquarters, reporting to the Vice-President of Marketing. The Corporate Marketing & Design Manger will be responsible for working with cross-function teams of professionals. The dynamic candidate will have a solid design portfolio, and the demonstrated ability to build brand integrity that enhances company sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the creative vision for the company

  • Responsible for the artistic creation and coordination of marketing collateral, such as logos, templates, posters, brochures, menus, etc.

  • Administers promotions successfully and on time to include creating, communication, implementation and measurements.

  • Creates and implements digital and printed menu/signage design.

  • Directs visuals for kiosk, mobile, web applications.

  • Supports in maintaining the Restaurant Associates website and conduct monthly audits.

  • Supports in maintaining companywide social media channels.

  • Manages communications with unit and regional marketing managers.

  • Develops orders and manages the ordering process including vendor communications for merchandising elements, smallwares, uniforms and signage fixtures.

  • Perform weekly account audits.

  • Supports new business development in terms of concept development, design and presentation.

  • Participates in key QBRs.

  • Supports operators in their monthly marketing calendars.

  • Develop innovations that continue to keep the company current and on trend with marketing practices and local competition.

  • Support regional opening requirements as it relates to FOH, merchandising, marketing and communication.

  • Work with operational services, IT, print and digital execution and other vendors as necessary.

  • Perform additional marketing projects as tasked, related to business development and account openings and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Design

  • 1-2 years experience in Marketing, Merchandising and/or Operations

  • Must have a keen sense of design, visuals, merchandising and station presentation.

  • Must be proficient in graphic design programs

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills

  • Must be proficient in Excel and Power Point

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in social media platforms a plus

  • Strong passion for food and dining a plus
