Physician Assistant Primary Care Norwich / Overview Experienced Primary Care NP or PA position available in Norwich, New York.

Looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that will provide general medical care and treatment to patients in our medical facility, under direction of a physician. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Record physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Discuss cases with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

FNP or PA must possess current licensure in New York State.

UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital includes emergency care and medical clinic services such as inpatient and outpatient surgical care units, a women’s health center and a maternity and obstetrics unit. Our Norwich hospital staffs an intensive care unit, general surgery, cardiology, diagnostic heart care center, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging and laboratory departments as well as a 24 hour physician-staffed emergency care department for the Norwich and Chenango County community. Other specialties at our medical clinic include GI (gastro-intestinal/gastroenterology), Podiatry and an Oncology treatment and infusion center. The hospital's second floor is specially designed with a senior living center and a wing dedicated for short-term rehabilitation.

Our Norwich hospital also provides services at an outpatient diagnostic imaging center and a freestanding physical therapy center.
