We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cyber security Architect based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The role primarily revolves around the design and implementation of Microsoft Security solutions within a cybersecurity context, along with the configuration and management of cloud technologies and microservices. The successful candidate will play an integral part in developing complex solutions in the cybersecurity space.

Responsibilities:

• Architecting solutions within Azure, AWS, or OCI environments.

• Design, architect, and implement Microsoft Security solutions such as Microsoft 365 Defender and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

• Work in complex environments to develop solutions in a cybersecurity context.

• Configure and manage cloud technologies and microservices.

• Handle cybersecurity infrastructure including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.

• Demonstrate an expert understanding of key Azure components and concepts including networking, compute, storage, azure managed services, and azure well-architected framework.

• Show good coding skills in Python, Powershell, and Terraform.

• Exhibit an expert understanding of Azure Active Directory and implementing key technologies like Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Identity Governance.

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.

• Solve problems in stressful situations.

• Explain technical concepts to inexperienced users.

• Communicate at a conceptual level to management and at a detailed level to engineers and administrators.

• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Manage time effectively while multi-tasking.

Requirements • Extensive work experience of at least 10 years in the role of a Data/Information Architect or similar positions.

• A deep understanding of Cloud Technologies is essential.

• Proficiency in working with Database systems, specifically DB2 Database.

• Expertise in EO/IR systems is required.

• Familiarity with Erwin Data software.

• Strong analytical skills along with significant experience in Analytics.

• Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and techniques.

• Demonstrable experience in Data Architecture.

• Familiarity with Data Governance principles and practices.
