The role you’ll contribute:

Performs Electroencephalograms (EEGs), Evoked Potentials (EPs) and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) testing.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Conducts long-term monitoring in epilepsy and intensive/critical care units

· Measures neurological responses to external stimuli and traces electrical pathways

· Ability to scan, correlate, and clip studies

· Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity

· Explains testing procedures to patient and family using age-appropriate guidelines

· Performs studies with appropriate documentation, observes patients, troubleshoots equipment and physiological artifacts, and utilizes appropriate resources

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· High School Grad or Equiv 0 years experience

· Basic Life Support - CPR Cert

· American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists certification as a Registered EEG Technologist
