System One Enrollment Specialist in Owings Mills, Maryland

ALTA IT Services is staffing a Health Insurance Enrollment Specialist to support a leading health insurance customer. The individual is responsible for ensuring that members are accurately enrolled into the member enrollment systems in a timely manner, and according to the account contract or service agreement for complex accounts.

90% Remote

10% onsite in Owings Mills, MD

6+month Contract

Pay: $20/HR

Training requires 100% attendance in June-July

Responsibilities:

  • Verify enrollment status, make changes to membership records, research and resolve enrollment system discrepancies, process membership terminations, and other forms of enrollment events.

  • Enroll subscribers and dependents for all lines of business as requested via fax, U.S. mail, and/or e-mail for complex accounts.

  • Identify any abnormalities in the enrollment process.

  • Review and reconcile daily, weekly reconciliation reports.

  • Coordinate with the Billing Technician to ensure that all group enrollments are processed prior to running the monthly bill.

    Requirements:

  • Must have experience in the healthcare industry.

  • Administrative experience of 2+years.

  • Highschool Diploma.

  • Own equipment and vaccination.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Great Written communication Skills.

  • Ability to work several tasks daily.
