Lisa Cole with Robert Half has a career-building opportunity for a Staff Accountant with experience and skill to join a renowned company on a permanent basis. In this position, the Staff Accountant prepares journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will lend your skills to developing and implementing accounting policies. This position plays an intricate part in producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. Duties will include:

• Perform month end close, journal entries.

• Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable.

• Prepare analyses for monthly balance sheets and income statements for management to report on

• Compose thorough journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll.

• Participate in various department-wide initiatives.

• Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation

• Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field

• Strong experience with general ledger and month end close.
