Description:

The welder will be performing TIG and MIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel for customized military and defense projects including trailers, enclosures, shelter and protection systems.

*Will be performing mostly TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel; will also perform MIG welding

*Read engineered blueprints and drawings in order to weld customized parts together

*Weld flat, cylindrical or irregular parts by positioning bolts, clamps and tack welding to secure position prior to welding

*Examine weld for bead size and other specifications

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

The qualified candidate must have the following:

*Minimum 3-5 years of welding and fabrication experience on customized products

*3-5 years of MIG welding experience; must have experience on steel and aluminum

*3-5 years of TIG welding experience; must have experience on steel and aluminum

*Must be able to perform vertical and horizontal welds

*Must have the ability to read blueprints and drawings; all customized products

*Must have experience examining weld for bead size and other specifications

*Must have the ability to set up weld machine

Experience Level:

Intermediate level
