Job Description

Insight Global's Managed Service Division is looking for a Business Analyst to join our Centralized Analytics and Reporting team. We are looking for a sql savvy, driven business analyst type person that can work with a wide variety of teams to build Power BI dashboards and sql scripts for Operations teams within the organization. The individual needs to have great communication skills and be able to work with internal teams to obtain positive results. Evergreen will support with database management and reporting as defined by assigned points of contact (POCs) within assigned orgs. Database management includes, sourcing, organization and reporting of data set forth by client requirements.

Data Sourcing -- You will support their centralized reporting process by collecting data that is deemed necessary to satisfy LOB reporting requirements. You will field incoming LOB requests and develop/update a request tracker accordingly. The following are sub-tasks expected to be completed, as well.

• Data Query

• Data Digitization

• Records Review

• Data Validation

• Database Development

LOB Engagement -- You will meet with assigned LOB POCs and establish reporting/visualization requirements, timelines, and data availability.

Data Manipulation -- You will query and update all associated databases with the most accurate information collected during the data sourcing phase. This data will be collated in a single PG&E recognized databases for all parties to commit changes and review edits.

Data Reporting -- The data collected and stored in the phases mentioned above will be formally utilized in reports and dashboards as developed per a standard set forth by collaboration between Evergreen and PG&E. The data and metrics to be displayed will be at the discretion of the PG&E work supervisor or assigned LOB POC; Evergreen's team will be responsible for providing analytics to generate the necessary data visualizations.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with some kind of technical emphasis

• 3-5 years of work experience in related field

• Proficient in SQL (Please provide work samples)

• Power BI; dashboarding and reporting experience

• Experience collecting data requirements

• Detail oriented, very organized

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

• Ability to learn and improve

• Ability to analyze data from several sources and identify and articulate the business impact

Plusses:

• Scripting experience

• Database mgmt. experience null
