UW Medical Center-Northwest - Plant Engineering has an outstanding opportunity to hire a MAINTENANCE ENGINEER .

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 40 hours per week, Day Shifts POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Performs general maintenance and repair duties to ensure safe and efficient operation

  • Be a part of a team dedicated to supporting UW Medicine where Patients Are First PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting work throughout the hospital.

  • Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner and communicates completion of work order to the requestor and Senior Lead Engineer.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.

  • Facilitate quality and professional grade repairs.

  • Identify potential maintenance and safety problems and notifies the Facilities Manager of all such hazards and recommends repairs as appropriate.

  • Act as a project coordinator with outside vendors.

  • Utilize safe work habits and maintains work area in an orderly manner. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 3rd Grade Boiler license from the City of Seattle
