Located in suburban Kansas City, AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is searching for a highly skilled and patient-focused neurologist to add to its busy existing group.

Our physicians provide a full range of neurology care – specializing in neurologic consultations, electromyography, and Botox for chronic migraine management. The position is an in/outpatient opportunity.

• 1 in 6 call rotation

• Call weeks are inpatient only with no obligation to do outpatient clinic those weeks

• 24hr call (inpatient and cover outpatient clinic call at night)

• Friday 7am – Friday 7am

• EMR – Epic

• 10-15 daily inpatients

• Average of 1-2 evening calls a week that includes outpatient clinic evening call

Candidates must be well-trained, BC/BE, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Fellowship trained physicians are highly encouraged to apply as we are looking to grow subspecialty services within our neurosciences. Experience with movement disorders and headache management are a plus. The ability to read EEGs is required. Respect for patients, co-workers and staff is of the utmost priority, and we place a considerable focus on providing exceptional experience for our patients.

Our excellent compensation package includes a guaranteed salary for the first 12 months, then based on RVU production along with a quality bonus. AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is an award-winning 504 bed hospital with a Medical Staff of over 700 physicians representing over 50 specialties and subspecialties. The hospital has a level III NICU with 24-hour neonatology coverage and is affiliated with the MD Anderson Cancer Network.
