Billing Support Specialist

Role Summary:

Assist in performing the Company-s collections and billing functions under the direction of the Billing Coordinator.

Location:

This position is 100% in-office and reports to our facility on site in Syracuse, NY.

Salary Range:

$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong customer service through daily communication with clients

  • Verify discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues

  • Maintain billing database including changes in name, address, service and rates

  • Answer incoming questions regarding dealer billing

  • Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data

  • Verify billing accounts with accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted

  • Provide department with administrative support as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Suitable data entry skills

  • Proficiency in English language

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proven ability to adapt to new software and changing office environment

  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

  • Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

COVID-19 Requirements:

  • Must be fully vaccinated: 2 does of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office environment. Employee may be subject so some lifting up to 10lbs
