The M.S. in Public Relations Innovation, Strategy and Management (MSPRISM) online program at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism seeks a qualified Adjunct Lecturer to teach the coursePRSM 505: Data-Driven Brand Storytelling. This course explores the evaluation of research and analysis methods, generating data insights and creating compelling and accurate stories using data visualization techniques. In this course, the Adjunct Lecturer will teach students how to:

· Integrate effective methods for analysis and research into persuasive story telling for a multichannel communication campaign.

· Generate actionable insights from data or research that informs persuasive storytelling.

· Develop a research-based story that incorporates data visualization.

· Construct a compelling research-based story intended to drive a targeted audience to take specific action.

Requirements for consideration include a B.A., B.S., M.S., or an M.A. degree in a related field. Previous teaching experience, particularly online teaching experience, is desirable. For some courses, outstanding professional experience may be substituted for academic credentials.

The hourly range for this position is $36.37 – $45.46. USC reserves the “Adjunct” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty typically teach only one course per year, but in exceptional cases, may teach one course per semester, if approved by the dean.
