Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Property Administrator in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Watsonville, California. This role involves managing property-related tasks and liaising with tenants, ensuring smooth operations in our real estate properties.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with applicants, conduct intake interviews, and prepare files for review.

• Manage phone calls and greet applicants, residents, and vendors in a courteous and pleasant manner.

• Support with marketing efforts such as mailing marketing materials and tracking marketing results.

• Arrange meetings with prospective tenants and provide tours of the units.

• Receive and ensure rental applications are filled out completely and legibly.

• Assist in entering pre-applications into the waitlist software system.

• Make calls to applicants on waitlist for vacant units and keep track of all responses.

• Assist in scheduling certification appointments and collect all relative data to process applicant certification.

• Initiate application background screening and approval process.

• Receive and complete resident work orders, maintaining the Work Order Logbook.

• Prepare and deliver general notices for the Community Manager as needed.

• Collect rent payments and security deposits under the supervision of the Community Manager.

• Store all relevant documentation into resident files.

• Coordinate resident social functions and communications.

• Use accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for various tasks.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Property Administrator role or similar in the Real Estate & Property industry

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Strong skills in Correspondence and Documentation

• Knowledge of Insurance procedures and policies in the property sector

• Experience using Yardi property management software

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills

• High level of attention to detail

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
