Aston Carter Staff Accountant in Woburn, Massachusetts

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

· Reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and bank statements.

· Assist in preparing financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide valuable insights for business decision-making.

· Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.

· Assist with tax preparation and compliance, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and requirements.

· Participate in internal and external audits, contributing to the success of financial reviews.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role

· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
